So I'm in Germany at the moment meeting some friends and trying to finish a painting :D Haven't had a lot of free time and everything is quite different from Australia (I'm very glad to have escaped the aussie summer).
I've got my Cintiq with me though and I'm trying to get time to finish the quick painting I started before coming here a few weeks ago.
Here's a wip http://i.imgur.com/iOWhiiP.jpg (imgur; never did learn the ins and outs of da)
It's not a serious painting, just messing around and having some fun again :)
So ... time to dust off several accounts at once :) I've been flat out working with some other guys on the driving sim BeamNG.drive and haven't had much time for anything else but I'm going to get more stuff out soon.
To start with I did a new and pretty in depth tutorial on my blog: http://ljfhutch.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/swamp-tutorial-process.html It's a tutorial / process on the painting with an explanation for every step of the way.
I'm also going to be posting more stuff on here.
So ... you may have noticed I haven't posted many paintings lately (I'm working on that, really). Basically I've been working at BeamNG (you may have seen our totally epic video a few months back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JPDtDfxf6w) on our game for a while now which has been awesome; designing and building levels. I'm going to get back to doing painting studies and some full paintings soon though, most of it has been super secret BeamNG concept art lately.
I just posted some pics of the terrain I've been working on over on the website, you should totally check it out: http://www.beamng.com/entries/23-Abandoned-Industrial-Site-progress
I'd just like to point how amazing your artwork is, you capture scenes that you imagine perfectly with stunning visuals, and you make it seem so intense. You deserve way more watchers than you have and I am proud to be a watcher of LJFHutch
